HOLIDAY LIGHTS CONTEST REGISTRATION FORM
Entries for the 5th Annual Holiday Lights Contest will be accepted through December 12. Judging will take place December 15.
The following prizes will be awarded:
• First Place - $150 Nuts and Bolts Hardware gift certificate
• Second Place - $100 Nuts and Bolts Hardware gift certificate
• Third Place - $50 Nuts and Bolts Hardware gift certificate
In order to participate in the contest, displays must meet the following criteria:
1. Display must be located within the Independence Power & Light service territory.
2. Display must be visible from the street.
3. Displays must not create a safety hazard or violate City of Independence codes.
4. Last year's display winners are ineligible.
On December 15, a panel of judges will view each display entry and select a winner and two runners-up. The winners will be announced in The Examiner.
The 5th Annual Holiday Lights Contest encourages you to create a beautiful, festive neighborhood! Happy Holidays from The Examiner, Independence Power & Light and Nuts and Bolts Hardware!
The Holiday Lights Contest is owned and administered by The Examiner. Registration Deadline is December 12, 2009 by 5:00 pm.
