Application for Barber Undergraduate International Service Learning Award
The Barber International Service Learning Award of the College of Arts & Sciences is in honor of Fr. Michael Barber, former Dean of the College, and his steadfast support of the Jesuit mission to engage in service and learning at a global level. The Barber Award supports current undergraduates engaged in an international service project. The service project may be in conjunction with a Study Abroad experience. Support may include expenses related to travel, lodging, project costs, etc.
Undergraduates majoring in a discipline within the College of Arts & Sciences are eligible to apply for funding. It is recommended that students work closely with faculty mentors in preparing their proposals. The signature of the student's declared major Departmental Chairperson or Program Director is required.
Successful proposals are awarded a maximum of $500. Each eligible student may receive only one Award per academic year.
