Tell me about an experience where you had to encourage a child or group of children to engage in an activity and how you got them to be excited about it. What type of personality traits did you use to accomplish this (e.g. enthusiasm, patience, silliness, etc.)?

2. Tell us about a time where you worked with a group of children where some kids were already friends and some didn't know anyone else. What were some of the challenges presented and what steps did you take to address those challenges? What was the outcome? If you have never worked with such a group, let us know what you think the challenges would be in such a situation and how you address them to reach your intended outcome.

COVID-related Terms and Conditions: In order to be considered for employment you must agree to abide by the regulations for staff as dictated by the Los Angeles County Department of Health. Tocaloma Day Camp will operate in pods that will be physically-distanced from campers and staff that are not part of one's own pod. Staff must agree to maintain physical-distancing from other pods for themselves and the campers in their pod. Staff must agree to wear a mask during the work day except when eating, in the pool or on a break (during these times when no mask is being worn the staff member must be physically-distanced from others). Staff will be updated regarding changes as they are made by the Department of Health.

Terms And Conditions {Please read carefully before submitting your application}: California Assembly Bill 2914 provides for the furnishing of conviction records relating to crimes involving drugs or violence in addition to sex offenses. Fingerprints and summary criminal information may be required in addition to employment/educational verification. Tocaloma may require testing for drugs and alcohol prior to and/or during employment.
