Over 600 men and women volunteers are needed to make “Christmas At Our House” a success! Our 21st annual holiday home tour fundraiser takes place Thursday, December 3 through Saturday, December 5 in Los Altos. Proceeds from the event benefit The Campaign for Saint Francis High School.

There are many ways to volunteer and take part in this wonderful school tradition. If you haven’t had the chance to fill out a volunteer form, please do so now.

We would love to have as many Dads as possible be part of our holiday staff! Your help is greatly appreciated. We need you.

ON-GOING COMMITTEES

WORKING COMMITTEES (November 30 - December 5)

 

BOUTIQUE COMMITTEE
Boutique Set-up: (FULL) Prepare Boutique area for arrival of vendors.

Vendor Staging: (FULL) Check-in vendor merchandise. Set-up and stage merchandise displays.

Vendor Check-out: (FULL) Check-out vendor merchandise. Tear-down merchandise displays.

Sales Associate: (FULL) Work the Boutique area floor during Boutique hours. Re-stock inventory. Assist customers. Keep Boutique traffic flowing.
Boutique Cashier: (FULL) Scans merchandise and manages customer transactions.
 

HOUSE COMMITTEE

House Chair: Responsible for overall care of assigned home. Works with House Committee chair to review home’s tour floorplan and docent staffing requirements. May work individually or with on one or more partners to share responsibilities.
House Docent: Greet guests. Guide visitors through designated areas of a home and share interesting details about the home. Offer guest assistance when necessary. Ensure homeowner’s property is respected.

TEA COMMITTEE
Tea Set-up: (FULL) Set-up overall hospitality area. Drape and decorate tables.
Tea Hostess: (FULL) Responsible for hospitality area and replenish refreshments as needed. Prepare cookie displays. Fill coffee, hot water and hot cider urns. Keep hospitality area tidy.
Tea Clean-up: (FULL) Clean-up of hospitality area. Break down of any tables and chairs. Empty and clean urns. Dispose of trash.
 
LUNCHEON COMMITTEE
Luncheon Committee: (FULL) Serve guests who have purchased the luncheon option in the main tent area. Help with menu and beverage selections. Ensure luncheon area is tidy.
 
PREVIEW PARTY
Preview Party Set-up: (FULL) Set-up tables, chairs and stage of main tent area for Thurs. 12/3 preview party.
 
SANTA’S WORKSHOP
Santa’s Workshop Ticket Sales: (FULL) Manage Santa’s Workshop donation drawing area. Assist guests with ticket purchases and answer any questions regarding drawing items.
 
TWELFTH NIGHT TABLE
Twelfth Night Table Ticket Sales: (FULL) Assist guests with the purchase of tickets towards the Twelfth Night Table setting drawing.
 

TENT COMMITTEE

Tent Set-up: Set-up of main tent interior boutique and luncheon areas with tables, chairs, and stage.
Tent Decorating: Decorate main tent interior boutique and luncheon areas with table cloths, plants, greenery, and lighting.
 
TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE
Transportation Committee: Responsible for directing street traffic or parking. Assist guests on/off shuttles.
