Beginner horsemanship. Has never tried horsemanship before and wants to learn more about working and connecting with horses from the ground. Students will learn lunging, safely navigate obstacles and some liberty as well as softening and bending exercises. It is great for those looking to get a deeper connection with their horses as well as those wanting some basic ground working techniques to work with younger or greener horses to make them a more willing partner under saddle. It is also suitable for those looking for something to teach their young horses before starting therm under saddle.
Intermediate horsemanship. Must have taken beginner horsemanship or be very comfortable with lunging, obstacle work etc on the ground. First half an hour will be spent on the ground working on softness, focus, connection etc the second half will be spent in the saddle applying what was achieved on the ground to riding. Participants must be approved by instructor prior to taking this class.
Private, semi-private or group lessons as one group or family can be arranged with the instructor directly and are billed on a per lesson basis. These are more flexible for those that cannot commit to a regular weekly schedule or prefer private lessons. Day time options are available as well. Please ask instructor about options.
