To be nominated for this prestigious award the faculty member should:
1. Has served twenty years or more in the EMS profession in Tennessee
2. Has taught in EMS Education for at least five years
3. Maintain high professional and academic achievement standards
4. Maintain professional and academic rapport with colleagues and students
5. Maintain a stimulating learning environment
6. Initialize a creative teaching methodology
7. Be able to provide evidence of college service/facility
8. Be able to provide evidence of community service
9. Be able to demonstrate use of innovative classroom presentation skills
10. Be known for a positive, caring, and inspiring attitude
