Featured School / Featured School District Application 

RSAC 2017 will be held December 4 & 5, at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL.

The conference committee is looking for schools or school districts that would like to share their success stories in achieving one or more of the following:

   -significant growth in student achievement.
   -significant progress in the implementation of the new Illinois Learning Standards.
   -significant progress in the implementation of Continuous School Improvement.
   -significant progress in the implementation of a teacher evaluation system.
   -significant progress in the implementation of student growth measurements through the development of     quality local assessments.
 
Featured schools/districts will be recognized during the opening session and will present a 60 minute breakout session at RSAC 2017.
Featured schools/districts will receive the following:
   ·One day complimentary registration for a maximum of two presenters on the day the team presents.
   ·One complimentary hotel room accommodation for one night at Pheasant Run Resort.
   ·Recognition at opening session of the conference on the day of presentation.
   ·Statewide and local area recognition.

Featured schools/districts will be selected by a committee of Regional Office of Education and Intermediate Service Center personnel.  Each selected school/district may have a maximum of two presenters.


To be considered as a Featured School/Featured District, a school/district must:

1.Be a public elementary, middle, or high school/ district in the State of Illinois.

2.Complete and submit the application by September 21, 2017.

 

All applicants will receive a list of the selected schools/districts by October 1, 2017.

INFORMATION FOR PROGRAM BOOK: Submit a title and description for your proposed 60 minute breakout session. Titles must be 50 characters or less. Descriptions should be clear and concise. Submitted information will appear in the conference program book. Check carefully for misspellings and grammatical errors.

Audiovisual equipment: Presenters must provide their own laptop, speakers, dongle, adapters, etc. RSAC will provide internet access, LCD projector, projection screen, and a presentation table or stand. Any additional AV equipment must be ordered through Pheasant Run and is at the presenter's expense.
 
Featured School / District sessions will be 1 hour in length.
