We interpret the submission of this form as a notice of intent to adopt from our organization, and hope you will take this process as seriously as we do. Because we are an all-volunteer organization operating on limited time and resources, we would greatly appreciate if you made certain you were prepared to adopt a cat from us before you complete this form.

If you are not willing/able to wait for your application to be processed, which can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days depending on when you submit it, or if you plan to visit cats from other organizations/shelters before you hear back from us, we would appreciate it if you would not complete an application at this time. It is very frustrating when we take the time to review an application only to be notified by the adopter that they have already adopted elsewhere!

Fees and Policies

We highly recommend that young kittens go in pairs or to homes with other cats or kittens to keep them company, but will consider single-kitten adoptions as well.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
Cat or kitten over 6 months: $90 ($150 for a pair)
Kitten under 6 months: $125 ($210 for a pair)

The fee includes spay or neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, testing for Feline Leukemia, microchipping, worm and flea treatment and all other care needed to prepare the cat for adoption.

Please understand that if you ever need to give up this cat for any reason, you should contact Feline Rescue Association first—we do not euthanize healthy cats. Others may euthanize. By signing this form, I acknowledge that all information on this form is true and correct. I understand that any misrepresentation of fact may result in Feline Rescue Association refusing adoption privileges to me or my family. If my request for adoption is approved and later FRA discovers the above information is not true or correct, FRA reserves the right to remove the adopted cat from my home. The Feline Rescue Association has permission to visit the cat(s) at my house periodically and I promise to be responsive to inquiries made on behalf of the Feline Rescue Association.
