Lead Teacher International Application

The GK-12 International Experience will take place June 5th - June 14th in China. If selected to travel with the GK-12 team, you will be expected to attend and complete the following:

· One 2-3 hour meeting in January, February, & March

· Beginning the first week in April, meet once a week for 3 hours. Two hours will be devoted towards taking a D3 course in Chinese culture and language and the last hour is devoted towards preparation and team meetings. (Times, dates, and location to be determined)

· During your travels, a 10-20 minute innovating and engaging presentation to be shared with Chinese teachers and students.

· Participate in data collection and evaluation regarding your GK-12 international research/teaching/learning experiences.

Application must be received by Wednesday, December 1st, 2010.

Notification of awards will be made in early Spring 2011.
